WwiseAgent ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered automation tool designed for Audiokinetic Wwise. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website (wwiseagent.com) and desktop application (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed via Supabase Auth). If you sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your public profile data (name, email, avatar) from those providers.
Usage & Analytics Data: We collect anonymized data about how you interact with the Service, including page views, feature usage frequency, and session duration, via Google Analytics.
AI Interaction Metadata: When you use AI features, we send your natural-language commands and the relevant WAAPI metadata (object names, types, hierarchy paths) to our cloud-based LLM provider for inference. We do NOT send your actual audio files or binary media assets.
Credit & Billing Records: We track your AI credit balance and consumption history for service operation purposes.

To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
To authenticate your identity and manage your account
To process AI requests and deliver inference results
To track credit consumption and enforce usage limits
To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service
To communicate important updates or changes to the Service

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. All network communications use TLS/HTTPS encryption. We do not store your Wwise project files, audio assets, or WAAPI session data on our servers — all such data remains on your local machine. AI inference requests are processed in real-time and are not persistently logged after the response is delivered.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management and optional analytics cookies via Google Analytics. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WwiseAgent (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WwiseAgent.

2. Description of Service

WwiseAgent is an AI-assisted automation tool that integrates with Audiokinetic Wwise via the Wwise Authoring API (WAAPI). The Service provides natural-language-driven workflows for sound design tasks including batch processing, object creation, parameter configuration, and project auditing. The desktop application runs locally on your machine and communicates with cloud-based AI models for inference.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Passwords must be at least 6 characters and include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and symbols.

4. AI Credits & Usage

The Service operates on a credit-based system:

New accounts receive an initial allocation of free AI credits
Credits are consumed each time you make an AI-powered request
Credit balances are non-transferable and non-refundable
We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and allocation at any time
Abuse of the credit system (e.g., creating multiple accounts to obtain free credits) may result in account suspension

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond its intended API
Share your account credentials with third parties or allow concurrent sessions
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service (including but not limited to the software, website, branding, documentation, and AI models) belong to WwiseAgent or our licensors. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights. The outputs generated by the AI (e.g., WAAPI commands, Wwise configurations) may be freely used within your own Wwise projects without restriction.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or suitable for your specific use case. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated actions before they are applied to your Wwise project.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WwiseAgent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to your Wwise project files, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any remaining credits are forfeited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which WwiseAgent operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
